Become a Member

RDGP members can access a range of clinical and educational services to support their daily clinical practice and continuing professional development.

RDGP membership also offers opportunities for networking, education, and for becoming involved with peers and the community.

RDGP membership is free, as is membership of RDGP’s Riverland Family Medical Network, which supports GPs and their families.

RDGP formally welcomes new members following membership registration approval by the RDGP board of management.

Membership will include exciting new features incorporated under a Members Only Tab, only allowing access by username and password.

There are four RDGP membership categories:

GP MEMBERSHIP

For general practitioners who reside and work as clinical general practitioners within the Riverland region of South Australia. GP members have full voting rights.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

For the region’s GP registrars, interns and medical students during their term of placement. Associate members do not have voting rights.

HONORARY MEMBERSHIP

May be offered by the RDGP board of management to any medical practitioner residing or practicing in the Riverland. Honorary members do not have voting rights.

PRACTICE MEMBERSHIP

Is open to any general practice operating within the Riverland and enables all current employees including practice managers, reception/administration staff, practice nurses and allied health professionals to hold membership. Practice members do not have voting rights.

The Riverland Rural Medical Family Network Membership – For Partners and Families of RDGP Medical Members

The Riverland Rural Medical Family Network (RMFN) is a support network which has been established to underpin the retention of the region’s medical practitioners by supporting their families.

Riverland RMFN members, including the support staff at RDGP, are always accessible to provide information, practical assistance and emotional support for other medical families.
