RDGP group programs aim to build the health literacy of the Riverland community, whilst also increasing literacy & numeracy skills of participants to better equip them to pursue study & career goals. RDGP group programs are interactive and delivered in an informal comfortable environment.

In The Name Of Art

In the name of art is a FREE 10- week TAFE accredited interactive community art program aimed at improving literacy and numeracy skills and ultimately supporting participants to link into further earning or learning opportunities.  Participants will have the opportunity to visit local Riverland art venues and learn many new skills such as photography, computing, collage, and painting while focusing on developing their own major art piece.

Criteria: Aged 17+ and not employed or enrolled in education

Cooking With Confidence

Cooking with Confidence is a FREE 10-week hands on nutrition and cooking program. Students will develop their own recipes as a group, cook lunch each week and produce a cookbook to keep. All participants will be linked into the Regional Development Australia Career Development Centre at the end of the program for further career planning and support.

Criteria: Aged 17+ and not employed or enrolled in education
